Being Mean.

Sometimes I realize I'm being mean but I usually don't because I'm used to it or just thinking about myself and what I feel.  My daddy and I had a conversation about building people up and knocking them down.  He said that I am really good at knocking them down but that means I'm knocking myself down too.  He also told me that I can be very good at building them up and that builds me up too.  I didn't get it at first because when I knock people down it makes me feel like I have power over them.  He explained that when I knock people down they start to not like me, then they start to leave me and that means I'm all alone.  That's when the real feelings start kicking in and I start to feel really, really bad.  But when I build people up I feel awesome!  When I build people up (making them feel awesome) I build myself up too.  People (my sisters and friends) start coming to me and I'm not all alone anymore (DUH!).  So I am working on building people up more and I hope you are too!

Winter Time
I fall to the ground
People throw me around
I melt away
I come again another day

Milk and thunderstorms

Hi, this is Lavinia. I'm congested so I can't have any milk today. I love milk but I can't drink it. I am going to read "There's a Carrot in My Ear" to my family. Last night there was a thunderstorm. I love the thunderstorm because we had a party. It's not really a part, it was just a part with me and Ophelia and Helena. Every rainy night I think it's a party. I love parties in the nights. The thunder and lightening are pretty.

Introducing

Hi my name is Lavinia. I love to play with my imaginary friend. She lives in Teribithia in my back yard. I'm 7 years old. I homeschool. My imaginary friend's name is Glinda. My sisters are a part of my top secret club. They are so much fun and they got to decide what their spots were in my club. My mommy is typing this for me this time. I love the way snapdragons look. And I love the taste of jelly beans but mommy doesn't let me eat a lot. I love wild cats very much too, that's why I like the zoo. Now I have a zoo membership so I can go there whenever I want if my mommy and daddy let me. I love to read the book "There's a Carrot in My Ear!"
